Bali Voluntourism operates with the highest level of legal and financial integrity as a legally registered Indonesian entity.
- Legal Entity: We are a registered Perseroan Terbatas (PT), fully compliant with Indonesian company law under the oversight of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
- Tourism License (SIUP-PARIWISATA): We hold a valid, current Tourism Business License issued by the Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy), authorizing us to conduct tour and travel operations in Indonesia.
- Tax Compliance (NPWP): We are a registered taxpayer with a Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak (NPWP), fulfilling all tax obligations to the Indonesian government.
- Employee Welfare (BPJS): All our employees are registered under Indonesia’s national social security programs, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (for employment) and BPJS Kesehatan (for health), ensuring they have comprehensive social safety nets.

Marine & Diving Safety
- PADI Certification: Our dive operations adhere to the rigorous safety and training standards of a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) affiliated center.
- Certified Professionals: All our in-water guides are, at a minimum, certified PADI Divemasters, and all lead instructors are PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainers. All are also certified Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructors.
- Equipment & Maintenance: Our scuba equipment is from leading brands like Aqua Lung and is subject to a strict maintenance schedule with publicly available service logs. All our boats are equipped with emergency oxygen, first aid kits, and marine radios.
- Emergency Partnership: We are partnered with the Divers Alert Network (DAN) and have a direct line of communication with international-standard medical facilities like BIMC Hospital for emergency medical support and evacuation.
Land Transportation & General Safety
- Vehicle Fleet: We utilize a fleet of modern, air-conditioned vehicles that undergo regular, documented safety inspections. All vehicles are equipped with seatbelts for all passengers and real-time GPS tracking.
- Professional Drivers: Our drivers are professionally licensed, have clean driving records, and are trained in defensive driving and basic emergency procedures.
- Emergency Action Plan (EAP): We have a comprehensive EAP that covers a range of potential scenarios, including medical emergencies, natural disasters (such as earthquakes or tsunamis), and security incidents. Our staff undergo regular drills and training on these protocols.
Travel & Financial Assurance
- IATA Partnership: We work with an IATA-accredited travel partner to ensure all flight ticketing and arrangements meet global aviation standards.
- Airline Partnerships: We maintain a strong partnership with Garuda Indonesia, the national flag carrier, to ensure reliable and seamless domestic travel logistics for our guests.
- Comprehensive Insurance: We carry comprehensive liability insurance, and we require all guests to have their own travel insurance that includes medical evacuation coverage.
